Forged Ball Valve

ACERTEC’s forged ball valve is manufactured to withstand Water, Solvents, Acids and Gases. In addition to thriving in harsh working conditions through various gases such as oxygen, hydrogen peroxide, methane and ethylene. Widely used in various types of sectors in E&P, Gas and Midstream, The material of this small-caliber ball valve is forged causing the density of the material to be much greater than the density of the casting.

Our forged Ball Valve uses a hollow, perforated and pivoting ball to control liquid flowing through it. It is open when the ball’s hole is in line with the flow inlet and closed when it is pivoted 90-degrees by the valve handle, blocking the flow.

With the seal embedded in the forged valve seat with a spring provided at the tail end of the seat, once the sealing surface is worn or burned, the valve seat and ball are pushed under the action of the spring to form a metal seal. It’s unique automatic pressure relief function arises when the pressure in the valve exceeds the pre load of the spring. The valve seat at the outlet backs away from the ball to achieve automatic pressure relief then will automatically reset after it is relieved from the pressure
