Corrosion Stop Zinc Tape

Corrosion Stop Zinc Tape will prevent galvanic corrosion and protects new and existing steel parts such as bridge supports, pipelines and other marine structures. Corrosion Stop Zinc Tape is made of a high purity zinc with a high tack self-adhesive backing.

Corrosion Stop Zinc Tape has a sacrificing role in the oxidation process. Instead of the two metals that are attached to each other, the tape will oxidize and so protect the two other metals. The same principle is put into practice on vessels; anodes are placed on the ship’s hull. These anodes will rust instead of the hull which results in a hull that’s rust-free for a longer period of time.

BENEFITS & FEATURES

The zinc layer on the tape will not be infiltrated by water, gas, etc. Also, the tape will not age due to UV light so there will be no corrosion from the inner layer.
